Children's Ministry is an important part of
everything we do at Forest Grove Church. We strongly believe in nurturing the
children of our Congregation.
The Sunday School- was the first organization to arise after the founding of Forest Grove, and remains a cornerstone of the church's growth. Activities begin each Sunday at 9:00
a.m. Current enrollment for the school is nearly 50 children. We have classes for everyone from 2 years old through adults.
Our youngest classes use age-appropriate curriculums with the emphasis on
Bible Stories with a time for crafts.
The elementary classes use the Workshop Rotation Model with rotations (lessons) planned for each month that are taught through a variety of workshops including art, cooking, drama, games, music, and storytelling.
Our Jr/Sr. High students follow curriculums that discuss current issues and
topics with Christian guidance. The most recent curriculums include Blue Fish
and Route 66 - Walk through the Bible.
The Singing Angels is a children's choral group that practices every Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. Any child (K-6th grade) is welcome to join.
Tuesday Club- Help your children explore Jesus Christ
through song, food and study. Your children will hear the word of the Lord
through new games, homework time, and while breaking bread together during
dinner. Each week we will serve dinner and dessert. Contact Lynn Mills
for more information.
