Forest Grove Church is proud of its strong commitment to the music ministry and encourages all to “Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord.” Currently, there are three choir programs available at Forest Grove for those who wish to praise God through music.

• Singing Angels – This youth choir for grades K-6 meets each Tuesday at 4 pm and is conducted by volunteer director Maggie Rash. This choir sings several Sundays per year and for special events.

• Senior Choir – Open to those of college age and older, the Senior Choir sings almost every week from September through mid-June. Repertoire includes a variety of genres from classical to spiritual to present-day selections. This choir currently rehearses on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 pm and is under the direction of Pat Guth.

• Bell Choir – Forest Grove is proud to own a 5-octave set of Malmark handbells. The handbell choir currently consists of 11 ringers and 3 octaves of bells. The group rehearses on Sundays after church from approximately 11:45am to 12:30pm and performs during service approximately every 6 weeks and on special occasions. Currently, all permanent positions are filled, but substitute ringers are needed to replace regular members on occassion. Please contact Director Pat Guth for more information!

Music Director Patricia Guth brings to Forest Grove a wealth of experience in church music, having served area churches in this capacity for the past 30 years.
